WHAT THE FEMME PROJECT DOES WITH THE INFORMATION COLLECTED
The information from the contact form: The information gathered on the contact form is sent via an email to the site administrator so it can be used to respond to the person completing the form. The information is not stored in any system or database. Emails to and from the person who completed the contact form may be saved in this website administrator’s email account.
The information from the newsletter sign up form: The information gathered on the newsletter sign up form is stored in a database and uploaded to an email marketing tool periodically by the site administrator. Once in the email tool, the subscriber will begin receiving emails from the email tool. The information about the subscriber being over 18 is saved by the Femme Project in the event that the Femme Project needs to prove that a subscriber represented himself or herself as an adult. The information acknowledging this privacy policy and “opting in” to receive emails from the Femme Project is used to prove that the subscriber elected to be opted in to receive Femme Project emails.
Once in the email marketing tool, the subscriber’s First Name, Last Name, and Email address are stored. If the subscriber chooses to opt-out of emails from the Femme Project, the information will be maintained in the email marketing tool with the preference to no longer be emailed.
DOES THE FEMME PROJECT SHARE INFORMATION?
No. The Femme Project does not share information with anybody.
